About Stonegrey
Stonegrey started the way the best rock stories do: two 16-year-old brothers, Tristan and Tyler Dusek, raised on Guns N' Roses, Alice in Chains, and Ozzy, hunting for bandmates who wanted it as badly as they did. The early name — Stone Grey Molly — got trimmed for obvious reasons, and Stonegrey has been a Tampa fixture ever since.
The résumé is real: a Hillsborough County Battle of the Bands title (second place their first try, the crown the next year), studio time at Morris Sound, work with producer Peter Klett, and an opening slot for Candlebox at the Ritz Ybor. Ask them what they play and you'll get answers like "Rock Revival" and "sledgy" — a hit-you-in-the-chest sound built on original music.
More than a decade in and still in their prime, the goal hasn't shrunk: big rooms, loud crowds, every face rocked. Catch them in clubs across Tampa Bay and the rest of Florida.
