The Danny Bub Combo

The Danny Bub Combo started in 2014 as an instrumental jazz combo — that's where the name comes from — and grew into one of Florida's busiest full-scale party bands without ever losing the horns. A horn section has been central to the DBC sound from day one, and it still is in every configuration the band takes the stage with.

Founder and bandleader Danny Bub picked up the saxophone in fourth grade back in Buffalo, earned a Music Education and Performance degree from the University of Tampa, and teaches music in Wesley Chapel when he's not running the show. Around him is a deliberately consistent core lineup — vocalists Madeleine Paige and Cristina Cristy, trumpeter Cesar Lopez, guitarist Cesar 'Omar' Rios, drummer Jamie Dammers, and violinist Chris Barbosa among them — which is why the transitions are tight and the dance floor stays full.
