Ukulele Brand's has been feeding and entertaining Land O' Lakes since the mid-1990s from a teal building on the water off Land O' Lakes Boulevard. It's an unapologetically Old Florida room — indoor and outdoor seating year-round, a signature mural, full liquor, and a menu that swings from prime rib to Uke's famous seafood chowder to Jammin' Jambalaya.
Music is not an afterthought here. The stage runs year-round with blues, rock and roll, country and cover bands, plus a Monday open mic that has become its own small institution in north Pasco. Add bingo nights and trivia and the calendar rarely has a quiet week.
The place also survived something absurd: in January 2023 an SUV and a food truck plowed through an exterior wall and into the kitchen mid-service. Nobody died. The restaurant closed for three months, the Rotary Club of Land O' Lakes and neighboring businesses raised over $20,000 for the 42 staff members who were suddenly out of work, and Uke's reopened that April with the wall repainted teal and the mural intact.
